Building Trust in the AI Age Through Narrative Authority and Content Authentication
As AI reshapes how information is discovered, interpreted and trusted, communications leaders are confronting a new challenge: how to ensure authentic content stands out in an increasingly noisy and synthetic information environment.
That issue will take center stage on June 9 in Washington, D.C., when CommPRO, Capitol Communicator and Tauth Labs convene senior corporate communications, public affairs and marketing leaders for a breakfast roundtable focused on “The Trust Stack: AI, Narrative Authority and Content Authentication.”
Hosted by APCO, the discussion will explore how organizations can build stronger trust signals for both human audiences and AI systems — and why content authentication is emerging as a foundational technology for the future of communications.
The conversation comes at a pivotal moment for the communications industry. AI-powered search, answer engines and recommendation systems are increasingly shaping visibility, reputation and public understanding long before organizations have the opportunity to respond. As a result, communicators are being challenged not only to create compelling narratives, but also to establish authenticity, provenance and trust around the content itself.
Industry leaders participating in the discussion include David Sánchez Carmona, Santiago Lyon and Simon Erskine Locke.
The roundtable will examine how organizations can build a resilient, multidimensional “trust stack” that combines AI strategy, reputation management, narrative authority and authenticated content frameworks. Participants will also explore the growing role of content provenance technologies supported by major technology and media organizations including Adobe, Google, OpenAI, LinkedIn and BBC.
Following the featured discussion, attendees will participate in a peer-level roundtable conversation and Q&A focused on the practical implications for corporate communications, public affairs, journalism, marketing and brand trust. The event is part of Tauth Labs’ broader effort to help bring content authentication and narrative trust frameworks into the communications industry as AI rapidly transforms how information is created, distributed and prioritized.
The June 9 gathering continues CommPRO and Capitol Communicator’s ongoing focus on AI, trust, reputation and the future of authenticated communications, building on a growing series of industry discussions taking place across New York, Washington and other global communications centers.
