The Top 10 US Public Relations and Communications Companies list is determined by the total volume of agency engagement within the CommunicationsMatch™ platform during a calendar month. These metrics represent businesses seeking to find PR and communications partners in the United States.
The June 2025 Top 10 Public Relations Agency Rankings, produced by CommPRO in collaboration with CommunicationsMatch, signal a notable shift in the industry’s direction as five agencies either return to or debut on the list. Golin, Fabric Media, Michele Marie PR, Omodt & Associates and Avoq are making waves, with Golin and Avoq appearing for the first time since the rankings were launched.
Racepoint Global reclaimed the top spot. Based in Boston, the independent agency is known for delivering integrated communications services to tech-forward B2B and consumer clients. Hunter, headquartered in New York and a leader in lifestyle and consumer brand communications, dropped to second after holding the No. 1 position last month.
Chicago-based Golin made its first appearance on the list, landing in third place. The agency is recognized globally for blending earned media with data insights and inclusive creative work. Long known for helping brands build trust and earn attention, Golin’s debut reflects a growing demand for culturally fluent and results-driven strategies.
Holding steady in fourth is 42 West, the entertainment-focused New York agency with a strong presence in media, celebrity and pop culture representation. Fabric Media, based in Los Angeles, returned to the rankings in fifth place. The agency has earned recognition for its campaigns supporting adtech and media innovators transforming connected TV, data analytics, and personalized marketing.
Ruder Finn dropped to sixth but remains one of the world’s largest independent firms. The agency continues to serve a wide range of sectors, from health care to consumer tech, from its headquarters in New York. In seventh is Caster Communications, a boutique agency specializing in tech PR and social media. Headquartered in Newport, Rhode Island, it continues its climb after debuting last month.
Los Angeles-based Michele Marie PR secured eighth place with its focus on fashion, beauty and lifestyle clients, driven by celebrity placements and influencer collaborations. Omodt & Associates of Minneapolis reentered the list in ninth, signaling a renewed relevance for senior-led crisis and media strategy firms.
Avoq, debuting in 10th place, is a Chicago-based agency that blends strategic communications and public affairs. With its mix of policy expertise, digital storytelling and media relations, Avoq represents the type of integrated service model in high demand.
The agencies new to or returning to the list share a common thread: they are agile, purpose-driven and deeply specialized. Each has demonstrated an ability to respond to media fragmentation, audience complexity and evolving client expectations.
This month’s rankings reflect a transformation in the communications industry. Rather than simply executing media outreach, the most successful firms are building influence, managing issues in real time and shaping culture. For brands seeking relevance and resilience, these agencies represent what it takes to lead in 2025.
This list is published monthly in CommPRO as part of the partnership between CommunicationsMatch™ and CommPRO. This collaboration integrates CommunicationsMatch™’s agency search and RFP tools with CommPRO's publishing and events, creating a powerful platform to facilitate new client-agency connections and generate valuable business opportunities for US-based public relations and communications companies.
