Meet “Taylor,” Stagwell’s Generative AI Tool at SXSW Public Relations Prophet CommPRO

It’s Taylor Time: Digital marketing shop Stagwell is unveiling its free generative AI writing tool “Taylor” for PR pros at SXSW 2023. Taylor is just one element of Stagwell’s new Comms Tech Business Unit. Heading up this new unit is PRophet founder and CEO Aaron Kwittken. PRophet, the first-ever generative and predictive AI SaaS platform, will be the crown jewel of the Comms Tech unit, with Taylor fully integrated into PRophet’s suite of offerings.

The name “Taylor” comes from the program’s function: it tailors content for PR and social media pros, or “communications engineers,” as Kwittken likes to call them. It can generate first drafts, but also help refine existing drafts, serving as a solution for those who simply need more efficiency putting something on the page or later in the process. Even more, it delivers insights on what kinds of content are most effective.

"2023 is the year of the communications engineer and Stagwell Marketing Cloud's Comms Tech Unit is dedicated to delivering, democratizing and evangelizing AI-driven solutions that transform how the PR industry works and performs," Kwittken says. “Our new generative AI tool significantly uplevels ChatGPT's functionality in a way that will save modern PR and social media professionals significant time when creating content while also improving the mediabilty and receptivity of their storytelling."

PRophet is an important investment for Stagwell. It was the 2019 winner of the network’s internal innovation competition which invests in new product ideas proposed by the network's 13,000+ employees."With PRophet as a first-mover in the generative AI space for communications professionals, we're excited to launch this unique business unit to serve the multi-billion-dollar PR and influencer communications software market," says Mark Penn, Stagwell Chairman and CEO.

In addition to PRophet, Stagwell’s Comms Tech unit will include Koalifyed, an influencer discovery and campaign management platform, and will continue to build and deliver transformative software tools to modern communicators. Future products will include AI-powered tools around narrative analysis, combating misinformation and managing brand safety.
