HUNTER Names Lori Ruggiero to Lead Corporate Communications Practice

Corporate communications continues to evolve as organizations place greater emphasis on executive visibility, reputation management and stakeholder trust. Reflecting that shift, HUNTER has appointed Lori Ruggiero as Managing Director to lead the agency's Corporate Communications practice.

Ruggiero brings more than 20 years of experience advising executives through some of their most important business moments, including IPOs, acquisitions, leadership transitions, workforce changes, regulatory issues and product launches. Throughout her career, she has helped organizations develop clear messaging, strengthen executive visibility and build confidence among employees, customers, investors and the media.

Her experience spans both consumer brands and B2B technology companies, including Samsung SmartThings, Jabra, Skyscanner, e.l.f. Beauty, Check Point Software Technologies, LiveRamp and Spring Health. She also has deep experience across artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, fintech, AdTech and enterprise technology.

What also sets Ruggiero apart is her background in journalism. Before moving into agency leadership, she spent more than 16 years as a television news producer with NBC, CNN, Fox Business, ESPN and Al Jazeera America, earning two Peabody Awards and an Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Award. That newsroom perspective has shaped her work preparing executives for media interviews, keynote presentations, investor communications, podcasts, town halls and crisis situations.

At HUNTER, Ruggiero will lead the agency's Corporate Communications practice while working across teams to support clients with executive communications, financial communications, thought leadership, media relations, crisis preparedness and reputation management.

Her appointment reflects a broader trend across the communications profession. Corporate communications is no longer viewed as a standalone function. As AI reshapes how information is discovered and stakeholders increasingly expect direct access to leadership, organizations are investing in communications strategies that combine executive visibility with trusted storytelling and integrated reputation management.

For communications leaders, the challenge is no longer simply telling the company's story. It is helping executives communicate consistently, authentically and confidently across every audience and every platform.

HUNTER's appointment of Lori Ruggiero is another example of how agencies are strengthening their senior leadership teams to meet those evolving expectations.
