Photo Contest Launched by U.S. Cellular to Celebrate Customers’ Favorite Places

U.S. CellularWith U.S. Cellular's #MYAnywhere photo contest, the company is encouraging customers to share photos of the their favorite places, revealing the beauty we can find anywhere.  In order to participate, smartphone users can tag their favorite location photos on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter with #MyAnywhere and tagging @uscellular through June 26 for the chance to win weekly prizes and a grand prize trip for four to anywhere in the United States. Select photos from the contest may be used in U.S. Cellular TV advertising launching later in 2016.“Our customers are from big and small cities and rural communities across the country,” said Grant Leech, VP of brand management at U.S. Cellular. “This program highlights that our national network coverage is available from coast to coast and works where other wireless carriers don’t, so our customers can explore far and wide to find their ‘anywhere,’ whether that means camping in the mountains or exploring a bustling city.”Throughout the contest, U.S. Cellular asks customers to share photos to be eligible to win weekly prizes, including a Samsung Galaxy S7, Samsung Level On Headphones, Samsung Gear VR headset, Samsung Level Box Mini wireless speakers and Samsung Gear S2 Smartwatch.Winners’ content will be featured on their social channels so customers can visit the company’s Instagram, Facebook or Twitter on a weekly basis, to take a look at the winning photos. The grand prize winner will win a trip to anywhere in the United States and will be announced the week of July 4.As part of the contest, social media stars Foster Huntington and Chris Burkard will also be showcasing the places that they love most on their social media profiles. Through multiple photo books, Huntington has built a community around a nomadic way of living in the 21st century.  Burkard has captured beautiful images that represent his experiences exploring the great outdoors.
