Join us on March 9 at 6:00 p.m. for a panel discussion celebrating the role of women in the PR profession’s history with special guests Muriel Fox, co-founder and first PR director of the National Organization of Women, and Anne Bernays, daughter of Doris Fleischman Bernays, who will speak publicly about the under-recognized role of her mother for the first time.
The panel will be led by noted historians Karen Russell, professor at the University of Georgia, Meg Lamme, professor at the University of Alabama and Dr. Karla K. Grower at the University of Alabama.
PR Council President Renee Wilson will emcee the event and make a special announcement regarding an initiative being launched by The Women of the Council.
The event will take place in room 14-270 at Baruch College, and the exhibit will reside for a month at the Museum of Public Relations. Additional event details can be found here.
