The just released 2021 Edelman Trust Barometer Special Report: The Belief-Driven Employee, concludes that there is a fundamental re-set in priorities for employees. Edelman surveyed 7,000 people in 7 countries for this new research. Today’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP) now requires a balance of the traditional enticements of pay and career advancement, a renewed focus on employee well-being with flexible hours and remote work, and a new employer commitment to act for good on society’s biggest challenges. The findings show that employers must achieve all three to win and retain talent today.
Richard Edelman unveiled the findings of this latest special report at a global virtual launch event, alongside a panel of experts, including moderator Cydney Roach, Edelman’s Global Employee Experience Chair; Becky Frankiewicz, President, ManpowerGroup North America; Tchernavia Rocker, Chief People & Administrative Officer, Under Armour; and Stephanie Creary, Assistant Professor of Management, The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
