The first awards program to honor the best spokespeople in brand and non-profit communications

Introducing The SPOKEies™

The program will honor the best organization spokespeople (excluding the controversy of politics) in a wide variety of categories. There is also an education component. The winners in this virtual awards program will be announced during Communications Week.

“It’s time that we recognize the importance of the spokesperson’s role in achieving an organization’s objectives through authentic, effective and transparent communications,” says Doug Simon, CEO at D S Simon Media. Categories include best spokespeople for businesses large or small and non-profits; best millennial spokesperson and spokespeople for new, high growth companies. Both senior leaders will be honored as well as newcomers. There are also categories for social media. In those categories, the winner will be determined in an online vote.

“By engaging the CommPRO community of more than 140,000 marketers, we will have the best and brightest contributing to this vital, but often overlooked, skill,” says Publisher, Fay Shapiro.

The SPOKEies™  are open to all agency, corporation, nonprofit/association, and government organizations. Who’s eligible to enter?
