Overview The Marketing Coordinator intern performs a variety of marketing and public relations functions to support the timely implementation of marketing plans and projects. This is a short-term internship assignment (three months minimum with a possibility of extension).

Activities This internship position will report directly to the Marketing Director to perform the following duties: • Assist with the coordination of deliverables for internal campaigns and meetings, such as VHDA’s 40th Anniversary activities and quarterly Associates Meetings • Provide support in coordinating deliverables for business partner associations that VHDA is a member of, such as the Virginia Association of Realtors • Updates standardized Homeownership Education press releases and distributes to media outlets utilizing on-line distribution services • Perform photo archiving to include sorting through boxes of photos, scan photos into a digital library and tag files • Perform campaign reporting by logging into various analytics software such as Google Analytics, Facebook and Quantcast • Research information for speeches and resolutions to include writing basic news releases • Assist with any social media PR initiatives Knowledge/Skills/Abilities • Able to multitask and proven self starter • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and internet functionality • Able to work independently or in a team environment
