The Corporate Social Media Zone, brought to you by CommPRO.biz, was created to help advertising, marcom, marketing, and PR professionals meet, greet, and learn. Whether you’re launching your blog, tweeting about your latest project, creating a Facebook fan page, or cranking out videos, there are a lot of moving parts to master.

We felt there was not only a lot of information about social media out there, but that the space is littered with too much guru speak. It’s just too easy for the people already in the know to talk amongst themselves and, frankly, pat themselves on the backs too much. It’s like one big megaphone being used in an echo chamber.

Our idea is to connect boots on the ground, working professionals with each other and with stand out examples of professional social media implementation. We see and want to recognize the amazing minds that are integrating engagement, conversation, and openness into their business cultures and finding success.
